On February 17, 2022, I made a decision while standing in line at a fast food restaurant. I was 400 pounds, battling a major food addiction and binge eating disorder. A doctor had told me I had maybe 10 years left if I didn't change. I had zero energy for my family.

I decided to start right then, with that meal, by cutting carbs and committing to figure the rest out along the way. No perfect plan. No waiting. Just a decision to begin.

Today I'm 200 pounds. Bloodwork is optimal. I have energy, clarity, and real hope for the future. What I learned is that lasting weight loss is all about rebuilding our identity as a healthy person and repeating healthy habits long enough for our brain to favor them. Everything in the 4M Method is backed by neuroscience and battle tested by me.
